Mosquito Pet (Common – 35%)
The mosquito, an incredibly adaptable and ubiquitous insect, is renowned for its ability to thrive in various environments around the world. These small, slender-bodied creatures belong to the family Culicidae and are best known for their irritating bites and the buzzing sound they produce. While seemingly innocuous, mosquitoes play a significant role in ecological systems as both pollinators and food sources for other organisms
Liger (Common – 35%)
The liger, a majestic and extraordinary creature, is a hybrid cross between a male lion and a female tiger. As one of the largest known cat species, ligers can reach immense sizes, exceeding both their parental species. These remarkable felines possess a unique combination of physical characteristics, blending the strength and power of a lion with the agility and grace of a tiger. With their distinctive striped markings inherited from their tiger parent and a robust mane akin to that of a lion, ligers captivate onlookers with their awe-inspiring appearance.
Piranha Pet (Common – 35%)
The piranha, an aquatic predator known for its fearsome reputation, is a fascinating creature dwelling in the tropical rivers of South America. With its streamlined body, razor-sharp teeth, and insatiable appetite, this formidable fish strikes fear into the hearts of both prey and onlookers alike. Adapted for survival, the piranha’s keen senses, muscular jaws, and powerful bite make it a formidable hunter. Yet, beyond its notoriety as a ferocious predator, the piranha also plays a vital role in maintaining the delicate balance of its ecosystem, showcasing the intricate web of life in the watery realms.
Angler Fish (Uncommon – 25%)
The angler fish, a truly fascinating and enigmatic creature of the deep sea, possesses an array of adaptations that set it apart from other marine species. Residing in the darkest depths of the ocean, these predatory fish have evolved a distinctive feature that makes them instantly recognizable—the bioluminescent lure dangling in front of their enormous mouths. This lure, resembling a glowing worm or bait, mesmerizes unsuspecting prey, enticing them closer before the angler fish swiftly engulfs them.
Borhyaena Gigantica Pet (Uncommon – 25%)
Borhyaena gigantica, an awe-inspiring prehistoric predator, roamed the ancient landscapes of South America millions of years ago. Belonging to the extinct family Borhyaenidae, this large carnivorous mammal is known for its formidable size and formidable hunting abilities. With a body length of around 2 meters and a weight of over 100 kilograms, Borhyaena gigantica was one of the largest mammalian predators of its time. It possessed a robust build, powerful jaws equipped with sharp teeth, and strong limbs adapted for capturing and subduing its prey.
Poison Dart Frog Pet (Rare – 20%)
The poison dart frog, known for its vivid and striking colors, is a small and intriguing creature found primarily in the rainforests of Central and South America. Ranging in size from 1 to 6 centimeters, these frogs boast a breathtaking palette of vibrant hues, such as bright red, yellow, blue, and orange, which serve as a visual warning to potential predators. Despite their beauty, these frogs possess a deadly secret. Their skin contains potent toxins, making them one of the most poisonous animals on Earth. The diverse array of toxins, including batrachotoxins and pumiliotoxins, serves as a powerful defense mechanism against predators. These frogs are renowned for their lethal skin secretions, which can paralyze or even kill their assailants. Interestingly, the source of their toxicity is believed to stem from their diet, mainly consisting of ants, mites, and termites, which contain the alkaloids that accumulate within the frog’s skin.
Hippo Pet (Rare – 20%)
The hippopotamus, commonly referred to as a hippo, is an imposing and fascinating mammal found in sub-Saharan Africa. Renowned for its massive size, stocky build, and unique adaptations, the hippo is a truly remarkable creature. Despite their somewhat comical appearance, hippos are formidable and highly territorial animals. They possess large mouths adorned with sharp incisors and canines, which they use for defense and dominance displays. Their barrel-shaped bodies are adapted for aquatic life, with webbed feet and dense bones that allow them to maneuver through water with surprising agility. Hippos are predominantly herbivorous, spending their nights grazing on grasses and other vegetation near rivers and lakes. They are well-equipped for their semi-aquatic lifestyle, with specialized glands that secrete a reddish oily substance acting as both a moisturizer and a form of sunblock. While often perceived as docile, hippos are, in fact, responsible for more human fatalities in Africa than any other large animal.
Puffer Fish Pet (Ultra Rare – 16%)
The puffer fish, also known as the blowfish or fugu, is a unique and captivating creature found in various oceans around the world. These fish, ranging in size from a few centimeters to over a meter in length, possess a distinctive defense mechanism that sets them apart from other marine species. When threatened, the puffer fish has the remarkable ability to inflate its body by rapidly swallowing water or air, transforming into a bloated, spiky ball. This inflation serves as a deterrent to predators, as the puffer fish becomes too large and prickly to swallow.
Lammergeier Pet (Ultra Rare – 16%)
The Lammergeier, also known as the bearded vulture or ossifrage, is a captivating and distinctive bird found in the high mountain ranges of Europe, Africa, and Asia. Renowned for its striking appearance and fascinating behaviors, the Lammergeier is truly a sight to behold. With a wingspan of up to 2.8 meters, it is one of the largest vultures in the world. Its most iconic feature is the impressive feathered beard on its chin, which gives it a rugged and majestic appearance.
Blue-Ringed Octopus (Ultra-Rare – 16%)
The blue-ringed octopus, a tiny yet astonishing creature, is renowned for its vibrant display and potent venom. Found in the shallow waters of the Pacific and Indian Oceans, this small cephalopod species possesses a mesmerizing beauty that belies its dangerous nature. Measuring only a few inches in length, the blue-ringed octopus showcases its striking blue and black rings when threatened or agitated, serving as a warning signal to potential predators. These vibrant rings are a result of specialized pigment cells called chromatophores. However, it is the octopus’s venom that truly sets it apart. Its saliva contains tetrodotoxin, a potent neurotoxin that can paralyze prey or even prove fatal to humans if envenomated.
Spinosaurus (Legendary – 4%)
The Spinosaurus, an awe-inspiring dinosaur, is one of the most remarkable and enigmatic creatures that once roamed the Earth. With its distinct sail-like structure on its back, the Spinosaurus stands out among its prehistoric counterparts. Believed to have lived during the Cretaceous period, approximately 112 to 93.5 million years ago, this massive predator was well adapted for an aquatic lifestyle. It possessed a long and slender body, powerful jaws lined with conical teeth, and strong, clawed limbs. However, its most notable feature was a sail on its back, likely used for thermoregulation, display, or recognition among its kind. The Spinosaurus was an apex predator, capable of hunting and preying on a variety of aquatic and terrestrial animals.
OwlBear Pet (Legendary – 4%)
The OwlBear unfortunately (or fortunately) does not actually exist. It does appear in fictional lore, like the stuff found in Dungeons and Dragons, but you will not find an OwlBear while on a hike!

On the banner at the top of the nursery it shows a blue ringed octopus. So I could only assume that the blue ringed octopus would be in there as well considering there were only 11 pets listed.
Good call! I’ve added it now, thanks.
