Albion Online: Beyond the Veil Update
The Mists
The Mists is the new realm that has been added to Albion Online. The new realm offers various possibilities for PvP and PvE for solo and duo players. The Mists can be entered through portals in the open world.
The portals can be opened by Will o’ Wisps and allow solo or duo players to enter, depending on their size. There are also lethal and non-lethal areas and some never-been-seen-before creatures.
Whatsmore is that some of these creatures drop valuable artifact pieces, which can be used to craft nine all-new Fey Armor items with unique spells.
The players who are courageous enough will be able to discover Brecilien, an ancient city floating in the Mists. Those who can get there gain access to the Mists and Roads, plus new Player Islands.
Roads and Resources
In this update, you’ll notice that The Roads of Avalon have been reworked. They now offer more gameplay opportunities for smaller and independent guilds.
Headquarters can now be declared in the Roads. Larger guilds will now have to work much harder to dominate the regions.
In terms of resources, rare and precious Pristine resources will spawn in the Outlands. This will encourage groups to fight for these riches while bringing a new element to the crafting economy.
Additional Improvements
Some significant quality-of-life improvements have also been introduced for Albion’s guild players. There will now be a reworked Guild Crest Creator and Guild Description UI. In addition, the ability to directly equip and purchase Guild Loadouts has also been added.
The Character Selection Screen also has a new look, along with the Character Inspect UI, which now shows vanity items.
For those playing on mobile, you’ll experience enhanced and improved spell targeting and casting, along with other UI and usability improvements.
