How to Ascend Units in Anime Vanguards – Complete Ascension Guide

In Anime Vanguards, in order to Ascend a unit, it must be of Mythic rarity; anything below is impossible to ascend. Additionally, you need another copy of the unit and its evolution items. For example, to ascend Sosuke (Storm), you must have another Sosuke (Storm) to sacrifice, along with the required x12 Snake Scales—his evo item—for the ascension.

Each Mythic unit can be ascended up to three times, as indicated by the stars underneath their name. This means you need to acquire a total of four Mythics of that unit—one to ascend and three to sacrifice. For Sosuke (Storm), you need x36 Snake Scales in total, x12 for each ascension. Vogita Super is a special case, as you only need Senzu Beans for him and not an evolution item.

To start the ascension process, go to the lobby and find Kokashi, who is located just to the left of Hercool, where you summon. After interacting with Kokashi, click “Ascend” and then click the “+” on the left to choose a Mythic unit you want to ascend. Under requirements, you’ll see everything you need to ascend the unit.

If you want to preview the stats that the ascension will improve, click on “Preview” next to “Ascend.” Then, if you’re happy, click the “Ascend” button to sacrifice that unit and all the evolution items, and make that unit even stronger.
