The Dead by Daylight team has rolled out patch 6.6.2, focusing on updates and refinements to The Skull Merchant Killer, who was introduced recently. In addition to addressing various issues with this recent addition, the patch also includes several add-on changes, bug fixes, and overall gameplay improvements. The update aims to deliver a more enjoyable and polished experience for Dead by Daylight players.
Updates to The Skull Merchant Killer
The Skull Merchant has received several base power changes, including a flat Haste Status Effect for each Survivor detected on the radar. The bonus percentages are as follows: one Survivor: +3%, two Survivors: +5%, three Survivors: +6%, and four Survivors: +7%. Note that the player doesn’t need to be Inspecting the Radar to receive these bonuses. Additionally, several add-on changes have been made, such as introducing the Ultrasonic Trap Speaker and adjusting the rarity and percentages of some add-ons.
Miscellaneous Updates
The Leverage perk still works on self-healing, contrary to earlier patch notes. Screams caused by Perks have been updated to be heard map-wide, as they were prior to version 6.6.0.
Bug Fixes
A variety of bug fixes have been implemented in patch 6.6.2, affecting Archives & Challenges, Audio, Bots, Characters, Maps, Perks, Platforms, Killer – Skull Merchant, and UI. Some notable fixes include:
- Bots can now ask other players to move out of their way.
