In the upcoming Season 21 of Destiny 2, the game’s exotic weapons will undergo significant modifications, as announced by the developers. The changes aim to enhance the in-game dynamics and create a balanced environment for the players.

‘Eyes of Tomorrow’ will now refund one ammo when four targets are killed with a missile volley, suggesting the strategic use of this weapon against groups. This change aims to balance the Rocket Launcher ammo economy and enhance the weapon’s functionality.

The performance of ‘Graviton Lance’ will be optimized by increasing its RPM from 257 to 300, which reduces burst delay by 20%. This change will match the rate of fire of Revision Zero’s Hakke Heavy Rounds. The damage of the first and second shots will also be rebalanced to make the weapon more efficient.

‘Jade Rabbit’ is set to become a more potent PvP Scout Rifle. The changes will make it easier to track the state of the Exotic perk, and hitting three critical hits will now refund three shots instead of one. The ‘Fate of All Fools’ buff will now display when its increased body shot damage is active.

Modifications to ‘The Manticore’ aim to make the weapon more rewarding, mobile, and sustainable. The catalyst’s damage resistance will be increased, movement speed during hang time will be improved, and activating the catalyst perk will now partially refill the magazine.

‘Lumina’ will receive a small buff with an increased Noble Rounds cap from 5 to 6. This change is made to improve consistency with Ace of Spades’ Memento Mori shot count.

‘Heartshadow’ will now activate its damage increase quicker while invisible, and will weaken upon dealing any damage while the damage increase is active. This change is intended to make it easier to exploit the Exotic perks.

‘Worldline Zero’ will have a more distinct performance following the changes. The sprinting Heavy attack can now be chained into itself once, and the sword guard energy cost from each sprinting heavy attack will be reduced.

‘Sweet Business’ will now fire explosive rounds every 20 shots, adding a fun factor to its performance.

‘Legend of Acrius’ will get an increase in total ammo from 12 to 16 and an increase in maximum projectile distance from 9m to 12m. These changes will relax the constraints on the weapon’s ammo reserves and usage distance.

‘Tommy’s Matchbook’ will allow players to burn others while overheating, courtesy of an updated catalyst.

‘No Time to Explain’s drone will now work against Barrier Champion shields when it has an anti-barrier effect, and the drone will also work with the Feeding Frenzy perk.

‘Skyburner’s Oath’ will become more competitive with other scorching options by increasing scorch stacks.

‘Salvation’s Grip’ will be reworked to have two firing modes, creating a pattern of Stasis crystals and doing more damage to Stasis crystals and frozen targets.

‘Bad Juju’ will now recoil similarly to other Pulse Rifles, making it easier to control.

‘Fighting Lion’ will be fixed to prevent it from doing more damage than intended to red-bar combatants.

‘Thunderlord’ will have a bug fixed that allowed lightning strikes at a higher frequency than intended against Divinity bubbles.

Lastly, ‘Winterbite’ will remove the impact damage and redistribute it to the detonation damage. The self-damage scaling will be tuned to account for the increased damage of the detonation.
