Dandy’s World Ichor Guide

Getting Ichor can be achieved through various methods, including just playing Dany’s World. As you progress through the game and complete floors, you’ll earn Ichor, the same as repairing the extractor machines and using your Toon’s active ability when you begin a new floor.

As you venture through the map, collecting Research Capsules will also earn you Ichor, but only collect the capsules that are taped shut. It’s important to avoid the capsules that are not taped, as these will trigger the appearance of the Rodger Twisted, which nobody wants.

What Toon you use makes a difference when it comes to acquiring Ichor, as some are more effective than others at gathering it. Characters like Boxten, Poppy, Rodger Brightney, and Vee are solid choices mainly because of their extraction speed.

The best way to get Ichor, though, is actually by playing solo. Pick Boxten, Poppy, Rodger, Brightney, and Vee, and equip Trinkets that boost your speed. Then follow these steps:

  1. If Goobs or Scraps spawn, and it takes ages to start your first machine, lose on purpose.
  2. If there are 5 or higher machines, lose on purpose.
  3. Collect any and all items that speed up yourself and your extraction speed.
  4. Don’t worry about losing hearts, just focus on getting to the machines ASAP!
  5. Keep an eye out for pipes as you explore the map, as these will lead you to machines.
