Blade Ball Floor is Lava Game Mode Explained
Blade Ball has a limited-time game mode called Floor Is Lava. In this mode, players engage in a free-for-all match, where the ground is engulfed by rising lava. To survive, players must ascend to higher ground by climbing and jumping on various structures to avoid being consumed by the lava.
To win Floor Is Lava in Blade Ball, you must remain the last player standing. To achieve this, players need to not only evade the deadly lava but also deflect the Ball. Failing to deflect the Ball results in elimination from the game, just like any mode in Blade Ball.
As this new game mode incorporates vertical movement, developers have introduced a marker to help players keep track of the Blade Ball’s movements. When the marker is white, the Blade Ball is targeting another player; however, when it turns red, the Ball is on a course for the player. It is crucial to remain vigilant and respond swiftly to avoid being hit by the Ball, but this is easier said than done as you are jumping or climbing upwards.

On the right side of the screen is a bar, which tells you what level each player is at and how far the lava has risen. Though it doesn’t help much, it indicates where your opponents are if you are in a standoff, as they may be higher than you and don’t have to worry about lava.
Surviving in Floor Is Lava requires a combination of quick reflexes and the ability to pay attention, as players must continuously ascend to prevent the lava from overtaking them while simultaneously deflecting the Blade Ball to stay in the game. Although temporary survival in the lava is possible, it is not a viable long-term strategy.
