CorpoNation: The Sorting Process is an upcoming corporate management simulation game by developer Canteen and publisher Playtonic Friends. In this game, players are tasked with sorting a mysterious collection of genetic samples in Ringo CorpoNation.
Media Indie Exchange recently went live to showcase upcoming indie titles and other game announcements. One of the titles that have been featured at The MIX Direct Spring 2023 Showcase is CorpoNation: The Sorting Process. As revealed in the CorpoNation: The Sorting Process announcement trailer, the game is set to launch for PC via Steam later this year.
In CorpoNation: The Sorting Process, players will take on the role of a Lab Technician for a corporately-owned state. Their job is to organize a mysterious collection of genetic samples and thrive to remain model employees.
As players accomplish a task in CorpoNation: The Sorting Process, they will earn credits which they may use to purchase items for their room decoration, engage in state-approved games, and pay their bills. There will be also rogue employees that players should be wary of as they may try to convince them into betraying the employer.
CorpoNation: The Sorting Process features a retro style graphics reminiscent of old computer interface. It also has some parallels with Papers, Please, which is an immigration inspector simulation game that has recently gained popularity, despite being released in 2013, thanks to its straightforward yet addicting gameplay.
The common drawback of job simulation games, which may also be relevant to CorpoNation: The Sorting Process, is that the content is typically limited to the narrative and accomplishing the task, which can get monotonous after a while for some. Fortunately, CorpoNation: The Sorting Process, features other side activities other than sorting genetic samples such as mini-games, room decoration, and following an intriguing linear dystopian narrative.
You may add CorpoNation: The Sorting Process to your Steam wishlist now to be notified when it becomes available for PC.
