Minecraft Legends is about to get a whole lot bigger with the release of its absolutely massive November update. This update is packed with new content, features, and improvements that look like they could bring a new wave of players. I am not exaggerating when I say this update is enormous. There is so much to go over that it feels like the developers never stopped working on the game.

One of the biggest additions in the update is the frog mount and witches. This amphibian can be found in swamps and along rivers, and it offers players a new way to traverse the world. The frog mount is also a formidable foe in battle, with its high jump height and ability to change direction mid-air. Witches are powerful ranged units that throw potions, which apply poison to all units in an area. Witch huts can be found in villages and can be activated by players to spawn witches for their team.

Another new addition to Minecraft Legends is the cauldron. Cauldrons are special structures that enhance nearby allied mobs, increasing their damage and adding knockback to their attacks. This helps give players an advantage in battle and will likely become crucial to every army.

The November update also includes a variety of new piglins to battle. These include the piglin clanger, which has an area-of-effect attack that knocks back and stuns player mobs, and the piglin air chopper, which uses a giant fan to spread spores into the Overworld. Making your enemies far more numerous.

In addition to the new content, the Minecraft Legends November update also includes a variety of new custom game options. These options allow players to control the game experience in a variety of ways, including world generation, difficulty, and player settings. If you wanted more customization for your game, you’re getting that and a lot more, the size of piglin mobs, damage of worlds, world seeds, and more are being introduced.

The update also includes a variety of bug fixes and gameplay improvements as you’d expect. However, the list is a long longer than I’m used to seeing in updates. The size of the fixes makes me feel like Mojang had an entire team only dedicated to fixing bugs and making gameplay adjustments.

Here are some of the other features of the November update:

  • New achievements and trophies
  • Hero Select Update
  • General improvements
  • Pathfinding improvements
  • Type Select improvements
  • Bannerview Improvement
  • Unit RPS and Difficulty Tuning (Campaign and PVP) improvements
    • This includes dozens of new sliders and modifications you can make before starting each game
  • PvP Updates & Improvements
  • Gameplay Updates & Fixes
  • World Seeds are being added

This is equivalent to the RedFall updates we’ve been seeing from Bethesda. It’s honestly impressive, scrolling through the full list of updates shows why there haven’t been many updates since release. If you’ve been interested in playing the game, I highly recommend starting now because it feels like an expansion’s worth of updates were added.
