Ahead of its upcoming release on November 14th, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 has been building excitement among fans by introducing its playable characters through spotlight trailers. Recently, publisher GameMill Entertainment has stirred excitement as Nigel Thornberry from “The Wild Thornberrys” makes a return with an upgraded moveset in this second installment of the Nickelodeon crossover fighting game.

With plenty of time to refine old techniques and find new inspirations in his recent exploration of the animal kingdom, Nigel enters the fray in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 with a wider range of animalistic abilities. After some extensive bird watching, Nigel has perfected his avian-inspired flight, allowing him to flap his wings like a bird and jump up to four times in the air. In addition, his aerial charge down attack, “Falcon Dive,” has now become even more elegant. However, this newfound flight ability made Nigel the lightest character in the game.

Nigel’s special moves include an explosive down special, called “Smashing,” which allows him to send his opponents flying with a simple step of his fingers. His side special, “Gorilla Double Punch,” can be activated twice, with the first hit followed by an immediate uppercut, making it great for combos. Nigel’s neutral special, “Bowl Stampede,” sends him running with his horns, launching opponents into the sky. Finally, Nigel’s special in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, “Whale Crash,” is a short vertical boost that can help him get back on the stage.

Nigel Thornberry’s moveset also includes various other attacks, such as Aerial Up, Horizontal, and Down attacks, each having a corresponding grounded attack. His aerial light attacks consist of Neutral Air, Up Air, Back Air, Forward Air, and Down Air moves. Furthermore, each of his ground attacks, from jabs to up light, forward light, and down light, applies a poison effect that deals continuous damage over time.
