Moonsoo Hyun, the producer of the video game OUTERPLANE, has recently outlined an array of upcoming updates and improvements for the game. After the official launch on May 23rd, Hyun acknowledged the commitment of the players and stressed the developers’ ongoing dedication to refining the game based on player feedback.
Hyun disclosed plans to address issues reported by players including game bugs, connection instability, and varied content problems. He reaffirmed the development team’s dedication to improving the gaming experience through substantial enhancements.
Key improvements highlighted by Hyun included overhauls to the game’s Recruitment and Hero Pieces. Changes to Recruitment will allow mileage earned from recruiting heroes to be carried forward, enhancing the possibility of obtaining new and drop rate up heroes. Planned modifications for Hero Pieces involve regular events for increased drop rates, availability of certain hero pieces through event rewards, and re-evaluation of the cost and value associated with hero transcendence.

Hyun also provided a preview of the update scheduled for June 7th. Key elements of this update encompass the introduction of a new character, Eternal, who is described as a charming yet lethal hero with the ability to cast powerful debuffs reducing enemy Defense and Speed.
The update will also incorporate a Guild Raid feature. In this cooperative play mode, players will team up with their guildmates to challenge formidable bosses and compete with other guilds in a fortnightly race to the top of the leaderboard. This season’s Guild Raid will feature a powerful water element boss, [Devout Follower of Scientific Inheritance Maxwell], against whom players will have to strategize for victory.
Furthermore, a new event dungeon, ‘The Reaper and the Gangster,’ will be added to the game. This addition will allow players to explore a short story involving the new character Eternal, while simultaneously offering the opportunity to earn various rewards.
While these exciting alterations are scheduled for June 7th, further enhancements are anticipated post this update. Hyun delineated potential amendments regarding Hero Growth, Hero Balance, Monster Balance, and Side Stories. These alterations aim to address stagnant team compositions, the difficulty of account progression, problematic monster mechanics, and the issue of players unable to view side stories due to piece farming.
Finally, to express gratitude to the players for their continuous support and patience, Hyun announced a thank-you gift of 500 Ether, which players can find in the mailbox by logging into the game within the specified period (June 2nd – 7th).
Moonsoo Hyun concluded the note by affirming the team’s commitment to deliver a more captivating and engaging gaming experience.
