Valorant, a free-to-play first-person tactical hero shooter developed and published by Riot Games for Windows, has released its 6.07 Patch Notes. The game, which takes inspiration from the Counter-Strike series, began a closed beta period on April 7, 2020, and was officially released on June 2, 2020. The 6.07 Patch Notes introduce significant changes to the Bind map, Sova’s Recon Bolt, and updates to the AFK/queue dodging interventions system. Bind has made a comeback in Unrated and Competitive queues with several notable updates, and developers are keen to gather player feedback.

Agent abilities have been updated to consolidate and standardize UI indicators. Reyna, Skye, Killjoy, and Chamber have all had their yellow indicators removed from certain abilities, while KAY/O has gained a critical danger indicator for FRAG/ment.

Sova’s Recon Bolt has undergone several modifications. With the update, the Recon Bolt now appears correctly when Bloom is turned off, its scanning VFX is more visible during travel, and its model size has been increased to better represent its hitbox. Importantly, these changes do not affect lineups or the bolt’s collision while in motion.

The Bind map has experienced numerous adjustments. Exit rooms for teleporters have been relocated, and A Lobby has been modified accordingly. Doorways connecting various locations have been widened, while Radianite crates and the back wall on A Site have been adjusted. A barrel has been added to A Site, and a utility window has been incorporated into B Site.

Player behavior updates include improvements to the interventions system for AFK/queue dodging violations. The penalty for repeated ranked queue dodging has been increased, and a one-day ranked restriction has been introduced for those engaging in excessive AFK behavior.

Various bug fixes have also been addressed, including projectiles resetting their blue travel trail when teleporting and a fix for agents dropping both primary and secondary weapons while planting or defusing the Spike. Additionally, fixes have been implemented for minimap issues, vision cones, and social panel bugs.

You can find all of the details on the official Valorant 6.07 Patch Notes page.
