Unknown RNG – What Are Starbreaks?
Starbreaks happen when you get an aura in a biome that it normally isn’t native to. Depending on what biome is currently active, this can make the game much harder or easier. Players have to deal with these changes as they move through the game, learning to handle different levels of difficulty caused by these unexpected events.
Let’s say that you’re in a biome that isn’t correct, then the game can get 4x or 10x harder. It can get that much easier if you are in the correct biome. So it’s important to know what auras a Biome normally offers.
In layman’s terms, Starbreaks are just like a breakthrough, which is a special version of an aura. So, whatever aura is up, it’s just more intensified during a Starbreak. This is why it can be counterproductive outside of its biome.
Biomes are super important in deciding where Starbreaks happen in the game. Each type of biome has its own chance of causing Starbreaks to appear. These biomes change randomly every minute, making the game’s landscape different. Knowing what each biome is like helps players plan ahead for the different challenges and good things they might come across as they move through different areas.
