They are unsure whether to stick with Sprintwagon or switch to Takaroda in Anime Vanguards. Below, we will explain all the differences.

Should I use Takarada or Speedwagon in Anime Vanguards?

The best advice is to get both Sprintwagon and Takaroda but use them for different situations when playing Anime Vanguards.

Sprintwagon is great for short matches, Story Mode, Challenges, and similar game modes, mainly because its upgrades only go up to level 4. This makes it easier to see a return on your investment (ROI). Sprintwagon will still be your main farming unit for much of the game because you won’t need more than what he offers at full upgrade to cope with anything the experience throws your way.

Takaroda has six upgrade levels, and just because he’s a Legendary and Sprintwagon is Epic doesn’t mean it’s immediately better, and you should stop using Sprintwagon. You can maximize Takaroda’s potential in Infinite, Paragon, or Raids. Takaroda earns more money per wave but is more expensive to upgrade and deploy. Upgrade 6 earns you an extra 10,000 yen per wave, but you only need to need that when for long game modes. You’ll never need it if you’re doing a Story Act.

Should You Ever Use Both Takaroda and Speedwagon in Anime Vanguards?

The answer is 99% no, as you’ll never need both in ordinary situations in Anime Vanguards. Having a full team of attackers and support units is more important than having tons of yen. Why? Because if you get overrun due to your units not being upgraded to match the current wave because you instead upgraded your farm units, you’ll fail.

The 1% time that it is viable, for example, is during the new boss raid event, which is for a limited time, as you farm up to wave four before enemies reach you. But that is only doable if you have five or six unit slots. When you have four, it’s not feasible at all.
