A limited-time Boss event has appeared in Anime Vanguards. Players have the opportunity to face off against tough waves of bosses for awesome rewards, such as increased chances for secret units, and tokens can be used for rerolls, evolution items, special emotes, and more. Keep in mind that traits are disabled in this event, and it’s strictly a solo experience, so it’s extremely difficult. Here’s how to beat the boss event against Blood Commander Igros in Anime Vanguards.

How to Beat the Igris Boss Event in Anime Vanguards

Before you even attempt this Anime Vanguards boss event, your units practically have to be A to Z in stats, and have max ascensions. You could do it if you don’t have all those, but you need one of the other. A friend of mine got to Wave 30, the final wave, without any of the above but still didn’t complete it.

To beat this event, focus on maximizing your farming units while keeping your DPS units at upgrade level 3. This approach allows your DPS units to handle weaker enemies, giving you the opportunity to farm. The best place to make your stand is in the image below, the third triangle, which is line with the gate.

After maxing out your farming units, focus on upgrading everything to level 8. Additionally, remember to strategically place Support units such as Alligator to slow enemies at chokepoints, allowing your DPS to attack them, and Agony to push back units for your DPS to engage again. Succeeding in completing this boss event is impossible without the Support units.

Now, most players attempting this may only have four or five units, which is okay. You don’t need six units, but you do need one of the following combinations if you have four or five slots available:

Team 1Team 1
Two Farming Units:
Sprintwagon
Takaroda
One Farming Unit:
Sprintwagon or Takaroda
One Support:
Alligator – for applying Slow
Or
Agony – for Pushback
Two Support:
Agony and Alligator
Two Mythic Evo:
Cha-In (Blade Dancer) – Best
Tengen (Flashiness)
Vogita Super (Awakened)
Rengoku (Purgatory)

Cha-In (Blade Dancer) – Best
Tengen (Flashiness)
Vogita Super (Awakened)
Rengoku (Purgatory)

If you have six slots, bring Haruka Rin (Dancer).

Igros has been a prominent figure in almost every video I’ve watched of this event, so you may be thinking it takes Igros to beat an Igros. While having Igris on your team is beneficial, he may not be the most optimal unit. I’ve witnessed players successfully conquer this boss event using just five units, two of which were farming units. The other three units were Tengen (Flashiness), Vogita Super (Awakened), and Haruka Rin (Dancer).
