Halo Infinite has released its roadmap for 2022 just in time for the release of Halo Infinite’s Season 2 coming May 3, 2022. We will see what they will introduce or change over the year in this roundup. This roadmap will also address some issues players have experienced, such as negative gaming experiences and optimizing gameplay. They have set some dates in stone, while they will solidify other dates with time.
Halo Infinite 2022 Roadmap
Interestingly, in this roadmap, they will focus on their team’s health and wellness as they try to find a suitable and sustainable work/life balance. In addition, they will work on creating more content and delivering features as quickly as they can while maintaining their health. For the team at Halo, this is their number one priority.
One feature they want to get into players’ hands is the Forge tools so that community maps and modes can more rapidly make their way into the game. To do this, they will be open Forge to the beta later in Season 2.
Season 2 will also be in play until November 2022. This may seem like a very long time. However, this will help address Quality of Life issues seen in season 1. Quality of Life (QoL) is short for bug fixes, new features, and content to address issues negatively affecting player experience.
There will also be “Drop Pods.” These release vehicles that will drop as soon as they’re ready. Their goal is one Drop Pod every month, and they will vary in scope and size.
Besides the drop pods, there will also be new content and maps, and the Battle Passes will include more rewards, missions, and “multiplayer narrative events.”
Many amazing things are coming this year to Halo Infinite, from more content, improved experiences, and more attention to bug fixes, to name a few. Be sure to check out our section on Halo Infinite for more great content.
