How to Learn Kendo and Kido Fighting Styles in Hollow Era
Both Kendo and Kido fighting styles require you to find special scrolls and deliver them to the right NPCs in Hollow Era. However, getting these scrolls won’t be easy, as they drop from specific bosses with a very low drop rate. Once you have the correct scroll, you can unlock new combat techniques and abilities.
How to Learn Kendo Fighting Style in Hollow Era
Kendo is a sword-exclusive fighting style. You can only unlock it by speaking with Musashi, who is located at the Crystal Cave. However, before Musashi will train you, you need to bring him a Kendo Scroll.
- Fighting Style: Sword-based
- Trainer: Musashi (Located in Crystal Cave)
- Requirement: Kendo Scroll
- Important Note: Most abilities require you to have a sword equipped

How to Get a Kendo Scroll in Hollow Era
The Kendo Scroll is dropped by Boss Kenpachi, a Level 25+ enemy. However, the drop rate for the scroll is only 1%, meaning you’ll need to defeat Kenpachi multiple times before you get it.

Expect a grind, as it may take many fights before you finally obtain a Kendo Scroll.
All Kendo Nodes and Abilities in Hollow Era

Kido is an incantation-based fighting style that lets you use powerful spells. Unlike Kendo, you don’t need a sword equipped to use most of these abilities. To unlock Kido, you must bring a Kido Scroll to the Kido Master.

How to Get a Kido Scroll in Hollow Era
The Kido Scroll is dropped by Boss Byakuka, a Level 35+ enemy. Like the Kendo Scroll, this one also has a 1% drop rate, meaning you’ll have to fight Byakuka many times before obtaining it.

- Level Requirement: 35+
- Drop Rate: 1%
Be ready for a long grind, as this scroll doesn’t drop easily.
All Kido Nodes and Abilities in Hollow Era
Kido abilities allow you to summon powerful energy attacks, trap enemies, and unleash devastating blasts. Once you unlock Kido, you gain access to some of the strongest ranged abilities in the game.

- Heavenly Cannon – Summon five rods of reiatsu that launch forward at your enemies.
- Fire Blade Sacrifice – Grab an opponent and summon a massive sword of fire from the ground to strike them.
- Kurohitsugi – Trap an enemy inside a Black Coffin, locking them in place.
- Goryutenmetsu – Summon a reiatsu-powered Dragon that destroys everything in its path.
- Lightning Dragon Cannon – Fire a massive lightning beam, obliterating anything caught in its range.
