DogLife is the new game released by Candywriter, who are the makers of the popular mobile game, BitLife. In this game, you will be living the life of a dog. You will have to hope for a good owner, might find yourself in the pound, or you could just be making your bones on the streets. Whichever life you end up living, you will be hounded by a variety of dangers and obstacles as you live it. Whether in the pound or on the streets, you might eventually want to get adopted by a human. We’ll tell you how in this guide!
Be sure to take a look at our guide to all of the DogLife Achievements in the game!
Cuteness Guide
As of right now, I don’t believe there is a way to gain cuteness by player interaction in the game. I have tried just about every method available, and there’s just no way to gain Cuteness. You are pretty much stuck with what you start out with. As you age, you will gain and lose small bits of Cuteness. Once you reach old age, your Cuteness level will begin to plummet.
The good news is that it doesn’t appear Cuteness does much of anything. It might help you get adopted, but I haven’t noticed it to be a huge deciding factor or not. As long as you attract attention whether you’re on the Street, in a Pet Shop, or at the Shelter you can get adopted no matter what your Cuteness is.
The one that seemed obvious to me was learning tricks, which you would think might raise your Cuteness level. It does not work, no matter which trick you attempt to learn. Playing by yourself will not raise your Cuteness either.
If you have Top Dog, which is the paid bonuses, you can set your Cuteness when you start your animal’s life. This is the only real way I have found that you can control the level of Cuteness you have!
I would imagine that the Cuteness stat will have more added to it in the future. For right now, it appears there’s very little you can do to influence it. Some kind of getting your owner to take you to a pet salon or bathe you could raise the stat. We’ll just have to wait and see what they do to update the game!
That’s everything you need to know about gaining cuteness in DogLife! You can find out more about the game in the DogLife section of our website.
When you get struck by lightning it raises the bottom 3 stats including cuteness for some reason
The cuteness now affects your ability to mate with other dogs and the happiness seems to go down faster. Games kinda lame with so little to do but to be aggressive to be an alpha and that’s pretty much the only thing to work at for me.
