Hunter Era Hatsu Leveling Guide

Leveling up Hatsu in Hunter Era is very simple but also very boring and time-consuming. All you have to do is hold down the G key or the Hatsu prompt on the controller for an extended period of time. The time required increases as you reach higher levels, and so on.

The highest Hatsu level is level 5, and the player smaxfree1 calculated the time required to level up each level of Hatsu. Ultimately, it takes around three hours of holding “G” to reach the max Hatsu level.

  • From level 0 to level 1 – 12 minutes
  • From level 1 to level 2 – 24 minutes
  • From level 2 to level 3 – 36 minutes
  • From level 3 to level 4 – 48 minutes
  • From level 4 to level 5 – 60 minutes

Yes, you need to hold a button down for three hours to fully upgrade your Hatsu. You can see the level of your Hatsu while holding G as a Lv. will appear at the bottom of the gauge.

To maintain your sanity, try playing on a console and placing something heavy on the controller’s button before stepping away. However, make sure to return every 15 minutes to avoid being kicked for inactivity. Also, using an old controller is a good idea, as holding down a button for too long might damage it, and that’s the last thing you want.

If you can only play on a PC, find something small and heavy to place on the G key.

Leveling up your Hatsu serves a purpose, as it increases your damage when Hatsu is activated and the gauge is filled, and allows you to take the Hunter Exam at Hatsu Level 2.

  • Holding your Hatsu buffs your damage at each level.
    • Level 1: 10%
    • Level 2: 20%
    • Level 3: 30%
    • Level 4: 40%
    • Level 5: 50%
