How to trade in AUT (A Universal Time)

Trading in AUT

To trade in A Universal Time, you will need to use the command “!trade USERNAME” in the chat window. You need to include the username of the player you would like to trade with. Once you’ve entered that into the chat, if it is successful, you will open a trading menu window that will allow you to exchange items.

Trading was updated and you no longer need to have a Stand equipped to trade. It is now preferred to be Standless when trading unless you are going to trade your Stands with another player. The Stand will still be traded when you trade, so be careful not to give up a powerful Stand. Store your Stand or Form before trading so that this won’t happen!

In the same update, trading was given a 10 minute cooldown period after you successfully trade with another player. This means you’ll want to make sure you trade everything you’d like to trade with the person in a single trade so you don’t have to wait!

It is important to note that you need to use their username and not their display name. The name that shows up over their head and on the side of the screen is not their username. You need to click on their name in the list and it will show their username under the display name.

Once you have their actual username ready, you can type into the chat “!trade DailyBox_Com”, where you’d replace my username with the person you want to trade with! You can also do only the first few letters of the name, but be careful that someone else on the server doesn’t have the same username. You might trade with the wrong person!
