Once you’ve started to corral Slimes as you play the new Slime Rancher 2 game, you’ll need to make sure to keep them happy! Slimes are balls of gelatinous alien creatures that live on a planet called Far, Far Range. They produce plorts, which can be used to make money, craft items, and unlock areas within the game. There is a new type of food source: nectar, so naturally, you may be trying to figure out where to find nectar in Slime Rancher 2.
Where to Find Moondew Nectar?
To find nectar in Slime Rancher 2, you will need to head to southern part of Starlight Strand Island, which requires defeating the Cotton Gordo. Moondew Nectar spawns in this area in purple flowers, but only at nighttime.

Pretty much anywhere that Flutter Slimes appear should be flowers that can contain Moondew Nectar. Keep in mind that it won’t always spawn in the flower, so you will need to try and remember where the flowers appear around the map and check them frequently.

One particular spot where you can find a few is near the Ringtail Gordo. I found multiple flower spawns at this location, which could be used for farming purposes.

The dew will despawn during the daylight hours, so make sure to grab it as soon as you can. If it is on the ground it will decay quickly, which means you need to make sure to keep it in your vacuum or in an auto-feeder at The Conservatory.
As far as we know, Moondew Nectar can’t be placed in a plot, so you can’t currently farm it like you would other fruits and vegetables!
We hope this helps you find Moondew Nectar to feed to your slimes as you make your way through Slime Rancher 2. We have more how-to guides for Slime Rancher 2 if you need more assistance!
