Once you defeat the Cotton Gordo, you’ll unlock a way to teleport to another island, Ember Island, where you’ll be able to locate new Slimes in Slime Rancher 2. Gordo Slimes occur when the same slimes merge together to create a stationary, larger slime. The Gordo slime will eat and eat and eat, and once it eats enough to burst, it will reveal whatever object that caused it to form in the first place. Where to Find the Cotton Gordo?

The Cotton Gordo can be found in the southwestern portion of Rainbow Island. You’ll start by heading west from The Conservatory, then head south before you reach the westernmost portion of the island.

In order to defeat the Cotton Gordo, you must feed it until it bursts. It eats veggies, but its favorite food is Water Lettuce. It will take 30 food to blow up a Gordo.

How to Get to Starlight Strand Island

Once you defeat the Cotton Gordo, it reveals an underground pathway where you can press a button that unlocks the teleporter that you need. This teleporter will take you to Starlight Strand Island, where you can find Anglers, Honeys, Hunters, and Rocks.
