While 100 Thieves might be best known for its competitive esports teams, it’s also been expanding into a pretty solid lifestyle brand and is now getting its feet wet with development. The brand’s first title, Bank Heist, has been created in Fortnite using the UEFN tools that were added as part of Creative 2.0 earlier this year and is expected to release tomorrow, July 11, at 11 a.m. PT.
In a press release sent out earlier today, 100 Thieves confirms the new game mode coming in Fortnite Creative 2.0, stating it will be a match where two teams of three are fighting against each other to either defend a bank or steal a payload. It looks reminiscent of the Escort game mode in Overwatch, with players leading the payload to an endpoint.

The game was created by 100 Thieves’ “in-house development team” and its content creators to build the best experience for players. The Bank Heist game is meant to encourage strategic gameplay while allowing players to showcase their full abilities in close-quarters firefights. It’s mentioned that 100 Thieves content creators Valkyrae and Courage.
The email also mentions that 100 Thieves is planning to release updates to Bank Heist and more islands in the near future. On top of that, the team is using what it is learning creating these levels inside Fortnite to inform another project that it’s working on, Project X, a “heavily-anticipated original title,” from the brand.
With the island planned to release tomorrow, players have just under a day to find two other players in preparation for Bank Heist’s launch in Fortnite.
