Dark Point Games has just revealed the new roadmap for their action RPG, Achilles: Legends Untold. One of the highlights of the roadmap is the game’s full release on PC and console platforms.
Achilles: Legends Untold first launched into Early Access on PC last year, in May 2022. Today, Dark Point Games announced the new roadmap for Achilles: Legends Untold, which reveals that the game will finally have a full release on PC and consoles, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, in Q3 2023.
Achilles: Legends Untold is inspired by Greek mythology and tells the stories of warriors facing their fate in the wars between humans and gods. Apart from being an ARPG, Achilles: Legends Untold, features a unique blend of a complex combat system and an isometric view that offers an entirely new experience, testing the player’s ability to observe, strategize, and improve. Through this setup, players will keep track of their endurance (energy) level, learn their opponents’ behavior, and develop their own unique combat techniques using the skill tree.
Since it entered Early Access, Achilles: Legends Untold has received favorable reviews, with the majority complementing its core gameplay mechanics. Others have also noted that the game improves with each new update, which may indicate that Achilles: Legends Untold will become even more polished and well-balanced in its full version.
Two major updates, prior to the full version release of the game, are expected to arrive in Achilles: Legends Untold. In addition, regular updates for gameplay, including a refined combat system, controls, performance, stability, and game balance, will be delivered ahead of the game’s full release. Dark Point Games also has plans to release a massive story update that will bring a revised plot, a new prologue in Troy, and other new features.
