Publisher THQ Nordic has officially revealed Jected – Rivals, an upcoming arcade-style racing game set to launch in Early Access next month.
THQ Nordic’s Jected – Rivals delivers a crazy mix of extreme sports, vehicular destruction, and break-neck speeds in a winner-takes-all elimination tournament between 18 players. Developed by Pow Wow Entertainment, the game is all about making the biggest jumps, fastest stunts, and bone-rattling explosions.
Jected – Rivals was initially developed as a tech demo by THQ Nordic’s Wreckfest development team and was originally titled Stuntfest: World Tour. Jected – Rivals is now scheduled to enter Early Access on May 4th for PC via Steam. In Jected – Rivals, players will be able to customize their experience by selecting from a wide range of vehicles and playable characters to suit their preferred play style. The game features a unique aimed ejection mechanism, which allows players to send their characters into the air with the tap of a button and gain an advantage over their rivals. Players will have full control of their character even as they race across the sky and crash through obstacles.
In addition, there will be also gadgets, such as the Jetwing, and secret shortcuts that players may take advantage of to get an edge over their rivals. In order to win the Unrivaled Champion title of the tournament, players will need to compete against 18 other players throughout 4 different events.
With its adrenaline-pumping fast-paced gameplay, Jected – Rivals is sure to be a hit among racing game fans. Other notable features include the detailed car models and environments that help bring out the immersive and fast-paced world of Jected – Rivals.
