A Space for the Unbound was an instant hit, leaving a lasting impression with fans thanks to its fully realized characters, the finesse of its dramatic conversations, and terrific pixel art. The game hasn’t been out for too long, and the physical editions already feel overdue for artwork this brilliant.
The physical edition is very thematic, and it has more than a standard physical edition would ordinarily offer. It includes a soundtrack download card, clipboard standees, and a washi sticker sheet.
The music, composed by Masdito Bachtiar, is downright mesmerizing, with equal measures of nuance, cultural influence, and memorable sentimentality. It’ll be a delight for fans to enjoy on its own. Standees are generally reserved for collector’s editions, and these also have a great sense of depth and quality.
The Collector’s Edition adds Atma and Raya’s journal, a journaling sticker sheet, and an exclusive 254-page artbook. Today’s trailer description reveals that the artbook will even showcase “new art by Game Director Dimas Novan”. Overall, the new editions provide plenty of content to please fans and invite newcomers.
