Publisher Microids has just announced a new installment in the detective adventure game series developed by BAFTA Award-Wining studio, Blazing Griffin. The sequel to Agatha Christie – Hercule Poirot: The First Cases, titled Agatha Christie – Hercule Poirot: The London Case, is scheduled to be released in the Summer of 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
In Agatha Christie – Hercule Poirot: The London Case, players will once again take on the role of famous detective Hercule Poirot, but this time a new mysterious adventure set in London awaits. Moreover, for the first time ever in the series, players will have the opportunity to team up with Poirot’s beloved sidekick in the books, Hastings, as they uncover a new mystery.
Hercule Poirot has joined forces with Lloyd’s of London to ensure the transportation, protection, and sale of a valuable painting of Mary Magdalene, which is to be the centerpiece of a new exhibit at a London Museum. Upon arriving at the museum, Poirot will meet with the new owner of the painting, Mortimer Ailsworth, and the curator of the museum, Evelyn Warbeck.
One week later, a Preview Gala will take place where all of the main characters will be in attendance. Things take an unexpected turn when the artwork is taken right in front of everyone’s eyes. To uncover the truth and find the culprit behind the theft, players will need to employ sharp detective skills and inspect new environments for clues.
Agatha Christie – Hercule Poirot: The London Case features immersive gameplay and follows a narrative faithful to Agatha Christie’s original material. In contrast to its predecessor, this sequel has improved Mindmaps, which now require more attention to locating the right connection between all pieces of evidence. Hercule Poirot: The London Case also has a new feature, called timeline, which helps Poirot to have a better understanding of the chain of events.
You may add Agatha Christie – Hercule Poirot: The London Case to your PlayStation Store and Steam wishlist to be alerted when it becomes available.
