Announcing Adoptle, a daily game highlighting adoptable pets!

Adoptle is an easy game to play; it’s quick, fun, and who doesn’t love seeing a cute dog or cat at the end of a puzzle? Every day, players have six guesses to figure out the adoptable pet’s name. But don’t worry, even if you miss, you’re really still a winner since we’re sure these adoptable fur-balls will comfort you in defeat! 🦴

There are a lot of Wordle alternatives and inspired games since Wordle became an international sensation this year. We’ve been inspired, too, and created Concludle, which is more of a loose inspiration as it is ultimately a trivia-based game but in a simple, daily puzzle.

Adoptle features a more flexible format where the answer can range from four to eight letters in length. Each day, a pet that is available for adoption will be highlighted to bring more awareness to animals in shelters across the US (for now!) that are waiting to steal your heart. We also want to encourage folks to check out their local shelters if they have been thinking about adding a furry friend to their family!

Players can return daily for a new puzzle to solve and meet that day’s furry friend! We are looking forward to extending the feature set to include an archive of Adoptle animals in hopes that we can share adoption stories as more people start playing the game daily — so stay tuned for more from the developers of Adoptle!
