How to Get True Shadow Monarch Spec in Arcane Piece

To get the True Shadow Monarch spec in Arcane Piece, you’ll need to go to a new island that was added with the Solo Leveling dungeon update. There’s a special NPC version of Sung Jin-woo/True Shadow Monarch waiting at the top of that island. Once you find him, he’ll tell you what items you need to collect to unlock the spec.

All Required Materials for the True Shadow Monarch Spec in Arcane Piece

You’ll need to bring these items to the Sung Jin-woo NPC:

  • 150,000 Dungeon Coins
  • 5 Orbs of Avarice
  • 3 Cups of Reincarnation
  • 2 Karnish Daggers
  • 1 Shadow Heart

You can get most of these materials from the dungeon system. But to run the dungeon, you need Dungeon Keys. You’ll need one every time you enter.

How to Get Dungeon Keys in Arcane Piece

You have two main ways to get Dungeon Keys in Arcane Piece:

  1. Use the gacha system.
    • There’s a 50% chance to pull a Dungeon Key when spinning.
    • This is RNG, so you might need to spin multiple times.
  2. Defeat the old Shadow Monarch boss.
    • This boss also has a 50% chance of dropping a key.
    • You can fight the boss repeatedly, but you’ll need to be prepared.

You can’t enter the new dungeon without a key. You’ll need multiple keys if you’re farming materials across several runs.

How the New Solo Leveling Dungeon Works

Once you have a Dungeon Key, use it to enter the Solo Leveling dungeon. This dungeon is where you’ll get nearly every item needed for the True Shadow Monarch spec. It’s a wave-based dungeon, and here’s how it works:

  • There are 15 waves in total.
  • A boss spawns every 5 waves.
    • So, three bosses in total
  • You only get one life, so be careful.
  • Mobs and bosses get tougher the further you go.
  • Bosses have a chance to drop:
    • Orbs of Avarice – 10% Chance
    • Cups of Reincarnation – 5% Chance
    • Shadow Heart – 1% Chance
  • Upon completion, you’ll earn Dungeon Coins as well.

You can’t rush this dungeon. If you die, you’ll need another Dungeon Key to go back in. The waves will keep scaling in difficulty, and you’ll need solid stats and gear to survive until the end.

How to Get Karnish Daggers in Arcane Piece

Karnish Daggers are the only items on this list that are not boss drop. Instead, they come from the gacha with a 2.5% chance, so expect some grinding. By speaking to the Gacha Event NPC on Solo Leveling Dungeon Island and spending 5,000 Dungeon Coins for one gacha roll, you have a 2.5% chance to get them, and you need two of them.

Where to Craft the True Shadow Monarch Sword in Arcane Piece

Once you have all the materials, go back to the Sung Jin-woo NPC at the top of the island. If you’ve got everything listed, you’ll be able to craft the True Shadow Monarch sword. This sword unlocks the spec.

Make sure you check your inventory carefully. You won’t be able to progress if even one item is missing. If you’re short on Dungeon Coins or missing drops, you’ll have to run the dungeon again.

The True Shadow Monarch spec also has a full moveset tied to the sword. After unlocking it, you can test it out in battle or damage test areas. Some players feel like the moveset could use more variety, especially when compared to older weapons. It looks cool, but it may not be the strongest weapon available right now.

Still, it’s definitely worth unlocking if you’re a Solo Leveling fan or if you just want to flex something rare in Arcane Piece.
