Base defense is one of the core genres in gaming, with players feeling the constant urge to defend their homes from opposing forces. Guardians Rising is a beautiful new base defense title from Big Moxi Games and looks to feature a variety of different unique heroes and enemies when it releases sometime in early 2024.

Guardians Rising was announced alongside the new trailer a few hours ago, showing action-packed gameplay that ranges from building defenses to taking on threats personally. The levels shown look varied in lighting and design, so there seem to be plenty of different areas for players to enjoy as they defend a center object in the shape of a large glowing ball.

It looks as if Guardians Rising will have some features that the base-defense genre is known for, like lanes that allow you to plan your defenses. There are also unique heroes added that allow players to take on hundreds of enemies by themselves or with their friends in the co-op mode.

Players will be able to progress through the game and unlock new gear for each other heroes. It’s not the most extensive gameplay trailer, but players can get a look at the different terrain and unique abilities of the heroes.

Currently, Big Moxi doesn’t have a release date set in stone for Guardians Rising, but it is currently slated for early 2024 on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. Players should keep an eye on Big Moxi’s social media pages and Try Hard Guides for all the latest information about the release of Guardians Rising sometime in the earlier part of next year.
