Eastasiasoft is set to publish the open-world adventure game, Ayre and the Crystal Comet, for consoles this week.
Ayre and the Crystal Comet was first made available for PC via Steam back in May 2020. This time around, developer Gordon Little and publisher Eastasiasoft has revealed to release Ayre and the Crystal Comet on April 19th for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. It will be available digitally for USD 9.99 / EUR 9.99. Take a look at the exciting features of Ayre and the Crystal Comet in a new trailer from ID@Xbox’s Youtube channel:
In Ayre and the Crystal Comet, players will take on the role of Ayre, a young woman with a rare dragon companion. Ayre has spent the better part of the last several years traveling all over the world in her search of learning more about the origins of her dragon. Finally, she has uncovered the homelands of an ancient dragon-riding people, known as the Skyriders.
Ayre and the Crystal Comet allows players to experience the freedom of flying a dragon in 64 square kilometers of valleys, rivers, mountains, and forests to get lost in. Apart from enjoying a relaxing flight, players may also test their skills with acrobatic sky races hidden throughout the lands, which can help upgrade their dragon’s abilities.
Since its launch on PC, Ayre and the Crystal Comet has received positive reviews, thanks to its non-violent gameplay design ideal for young and casual gamers who are looking for a way to pass the time and enjoy the thrill of soaring across a vast and magical world. Although Ayre and the Crystal Comet features a minimalistic visual, the magnificent wind-whistling background music and serene atmosphere provide the sensation of being in a relaxing and immersive aerial adventure.
You may add Ayre and the Crystal Comet to your PlayStation Store and Xbox Store wishlist to be alerted when it becomes available.
