BattleBit Remastered, the multiplayer first-person shooter game, supporting up to 254 players per server, has made an impressive start. On its launch day, the player count surpassed 29,000, as indicated by Steam. At a price of $14.99 USD, it appears that a lot of people are willing to give a chance to this blocky looking Battlefield-like game.

One of the prominent elements of BattleBit Remastered is its environment – a near-fully destructible map, a concept termed “levolution”. This approach in the game design encourages high frames-per-second gameplay due to exhaustive optimization. A highlight in this game is the real-time communication through proximity-based voice chat, allowing immediate interaction between team members and opponents. The game also claims to have advanced netcode, ensuring high-performance tickrate even with the massive player support per server.

BattleBit Remastered also comes with extensive features. It includes a variety of combat vehicles such as tanks, helicopters, and sea vehicles to create a diverse and engaging battlefield. Adding to this variety, the game offers over 45 weapons, each with extensive customization options for a tailored combat experience.

The game implements a classic class system featuring Assault, Medic, Engineer, Support, and Recon roles. Each role brings unique capabilities and strategies to the battlefield, fostering teamwork and tactical gameplay. Additionally, players can experience dynamic day and night transitions across more than 19 strategically designed maps.

While the player count on the first day is an interesting metric, it will be noteworthy to observe how BattleBit Remastered performs in the long run. With its variety of features and mechanics, the game may offer something unique for fans of the multiplayer FPS genre. As the game is currently in Early Access, further updates and improvements can be expected as the developers receive player feedback.
