BattleBit Remastered has released Update 1.4, introducing a host of new features and improvements to its near-fully destructible map with various vehicles.

One of the key updates in this patch is the addition of an on-screen level progression bar, allowing players to track their XP gains. Players who prefer a less cluttered screen can disable this feature via the Gameplay settings under the “Show Level Progression” option.

Update 1.4 also introduces a squad list feature, which will appear in the bottom left corner of the game’s interface. Like the level progression bar, this new feature can be disabled in the Gameplay settings for those who prefer to keep their screen real estate clear.

The Blackhawk – KA60, one of the game’s transport helicopters, receives a significant boost in this update, with its HP increased by 150% from 2000 to 3000.

Further improvements include enhanced hitbox detection and hit registration, and adjustments to the AK15’s ext-magazine stats, ensuring a more balanced gameplay. The patch also introduces a new mechanic where vehicles will no longer be able to resupply while firing, with a 60-second cooldown implemented to prevent continuous supplying and firing, specifically for Armored Personnel Carriers (APCs).

The update also addresses a number of bugs and issues. One significant fix is the visibility of the “Give Up” UI during night vision, ensuring it can now be seen clearly. Other bug fixes include the issue with the RSH12 vertical recoil indicator clipping outside the bar, problems with assigning the scroll wheel in keybindings, and issues with the UMP45 skins.

In an effort to improve the user experience, Update 1.4 also makes several quality of life improvements. These include an adjustment to the layering on CONQ for Salhan, Construction, and Azagor, limiting player names to prevent clipping in the squad menu. Additionally, the ‘Supporter Icon’ in the loadout will now indicate which skins are part of the supporter pack. Players will also be unable to damage enemy vehicles that are parked in the base, but this only applies in safe zones where neither players nor vehicles can inflict or receive damage.

Lastly, the update simplifies the representation of special keys in keybindings in the game UI for a more compact display (e.g., ‘+’ instead of ‘PLUS’), and C4s will no longer pass through fences and bushes. Notably, canted sights have been removed from the Ultimax due to the handle’s configuration.
