Sources have confirmed that Battlefield 2042 Season 1 details will be revealed on the week of June 6th. It’s currently unclear when the Battlefield 2042 Season 1 trailer will be shown, but media and content creators will be uploading their impressions and hands-on of the season on their respective websites and YouTube channels on June 8th.

Such details indicate that the Battlefield 2042’s Season 1 trailer should be revealed before then though, likely on June 7th, but of course, EA has not followed its traditional reveal scheduled for this Battlefield instalment. One thing is for certain though, we will get to see Battlefield 2042 Season 1 by June 8th.

Playtesting for Battlefield 2042 Season 1 has been going on extensively these past few weeks, with developers seemingly taking on board criticism from players. One of the biggest issues for fans is the specialists, which eliminated the class-based Battlefield system that the franchise has been known for. DICE has already revealed that a much-needed overhaul will be coming to the specialists in the near future and if the recent playtests are anything to go by, it seems like this change could be coming in Season 1.

Battlefield dataminer temporyal has already revealed key details on Battlefield 2042’s Season 1 content, including the addition of a new specialist named Ewelina Lis.

Battlefield 2042 Season 1 will also introduce the game’s Battle Pass feature, which includes tiers of content that players will need to earn XP for in order to unlock them. Tiers will contain similar content as to what you’d expect with a Battle Pass, including weapon, vehicle, and specialist skins.

It’s no secret that DICE and EA have struggled with the development and launch of Battlefield 2042, with its first season of content launching 6+ months from its intended initial release. In addition, seasonal content has been scaled back massively, with seemingly no indication of where its content is heading in the future. Initial leaks suggested that DICE were planning on a massive amount of Battlefield 2042, but due to the titles poor reception, post-launch content was scaled back massively.

Content has been scaled back to not only focus on addressing the issues surrounding Battlefield 2042, but also to focus on the next Battlefield title that is expected to release in 2024.

Battlefield 2042 Season 1 is expected to launch in the next two weeks.

Pretty unintelligent to keep working on a game the entire community hates. Also, no swearing? Are we 12 here at tryhardguides? Guess so.

Can’t get your point across without swearing? Plenty of younger audience frequent this site, don’t think it’s that big of a barrier.

I look forward to all the negative comments about Season 1
