Black Luster Soldier is an iconic dark warrior from the Yu-Gi-Oh anime. Yugi’s ritual summoned knight may not be the strongest card in the current meta, but with some work a Black Luster Soldier deck can still be fairly competitive. Making a Black Luster Soldier Deck

While the original Black Luster Soldier is the iconic card featured in the deck, he’s not the star of the show. To make a competitive Black Luster Soldier deck in Yu-Gi-Oh master duel, your real winning power will in Black Luster Soldier –Super Soldier.

Summoning Super Soldier is like summoning Black Luster Soldier but better. It makes use of the same Black Luster Ritual card, but gives you more bang for your buck.

How To Play Black Luster Soldier

While we’re including the original ritual spell in this deck, we’re going to be using cards like Chaos Space and Gateway to Chaos to summon Luster from our extra deck to our hand. This will allow us to do a number of things, but namely it opens us up to use Super Soldier Soul.

Super Soldier Soul is a 1 star card with 0 ATK and DEF. However, if you discard a Black Luster Soldier from your hand, Soul becomes a 3000 ATK monster and it’s name becomes Black Luster Soldier. Basically, this gives you Luster without having to use Luster Ritual, so we can save the spell card for Super Soldier.

Super Soldier is Luster, but better. His effect allows you to deal damage to your opponent’s life points equal to the ATK of destroyed monsters. Once you’ve got Super Soldier on the field, it’s basically end game; Use his powerful effect to put pressure on your enemy, and if he dies you can use the summoning Gaia The Fierce Knight effect to try and get more Luster back on the field.
