Seto Kaiba’s legendary Blue-Eyes White Dragon has been a favorite card of Yu-Gi-Oh! players since its first introduction. The beautiful silver scales and devastating white lightning attack of this dragon have become iconic Yu-Gi-Oh! staples over the years, and Blue-Eyes has remained popular even when out of the meta. In this guide, we’ll show you how to build and play a great Blue-Eyes deck in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel.
How To Build A Blue-Eyes White Dragon Deck
Though you can unlock a deck featuring Blue-Eyes right out of the tutorial, it’s far from the strongest Blue-Eyes build in the game. With plenty of powerful support cards, a Blue-Eyes-specific deck can be a devastating force in a duel. The dragon of legend has a whopping 3000 ATK, and is easily summoned with the right cards, meaning often all you need to win the game is Blue-Eyes itself.

This deck primarily makes use of one card: The Blue-Eyes White Dragon itself. By utilizing specific summoning monsters, we can pull Blue-Eyes from our deck and get it on the field incredibly fast. With this deck, there’s a very real possibility that you can have a 3000 ATK Blue-Eyes on the field in turn one.
How To Play The Blue-Eyes Deck
Getting Blue-Eyes on the field is your first and foremost goal. Using cards like Maiden with Eyes of Blue and The White Stone Of Legends, special summon Blue-Eyes from your deck or hand shockingly fast and give your opponent a 3000 ATK problem to deal with. Ideally, you’ll get Blue-Eyes on the field before your opponent can synchro or link summon any powerful monsters, and you’ll be able to throw a wrench in any summoning plans using nothing more than the battle phase of your turns.
Once Blue-Eyes is out, you want to keep it on the field for as long as possible. Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring is a powerful control card that is featured in nearly every modern Yu-Gi-Oh! deck, so make use of it. Having The White Stone of Ancients in your graveyard functionally gives you a Monster Reborn for Blue-Eyes only, so getting it sent there early will yield high value.
Burst Stream Of Destruction and Raigeki are powerful monster removal cards that can help you if your opponent manages to get something stronger than your Blue-Eyes on the field. The Ultimate Creature Of Destruction is a powerful anti-trap support for your Blue-Eyes that can be pulled from your graveyard whenever you special summon a Blue-Eyes. This deck makes use of very few spell and trap cards, but the ones it does use go a long way.
The end game of this Blue-Eyes deck is remarkably simple. Using Future Fusion or Greater Polymerization, get one of your powerful extra deck monsters on the field and destroy your opponent’s defenses. Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis and Number 23: Lancelot, Dark Knight of the Underworld are XYZ summons that require two level 8 monsters (aka two Blue-Eyes) and allow you to target remove enemy cards every turn, making it really hard to stand against you.

No true light why?
Because the people that wrote this guide don’t know what they are talking about. This list is kinda bad. Probably good enough for a budget player, but bad against anything you’ll see in ranked play.
thats pretty much the only thing they missed, maybe know how to play your deck better rather than say other people dont know how to make a good deck. ive been playing woth this deck with a few added spell/trap cards and in digital play im plat 2 whilst irl i can beat people with years of experience just with this deck, so instead of talking bad about people just because you dont know how to play a deck just shut up next time.
If you don’t mind sharing what were those spells/traps you added into this deck just curious
Yeah what are the Spell/trap cards u added to the deck ??
Yea what are the spells/traps you added?!?!?
True Light has been added to the list! I initially included it so newer players wouldn’t have to feel the sting of having all of their powerful fusion monsters and 7 costs removed by a single spell card. I’ll never get over that feeling!
Didn’t include*
hey, can you please add anto reigeki too? thank you
where’s nebula dragon?
there’s not added in the game, i cant find her.
Maybe it doesn’t exist
