Biomutant is launching on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on September 6

Biomutant is an open-world, post-apocalyptic Kung-Fu fable RPG from Experiment 101 and THQ Nordic. The game offers a unique martial arts-styled combat system that allows you to mix melee, shooting, and mutant ability action. Biomutant launches on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on September 6, 2022. 

The official announcement trailer for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S showcases what players can expect regarding the native 4K resolution, HDR support, and gameplay.

In this game, a plague is ruining the land, and the Tree-of-Life is bleeding to death. The Tribes of the lands are divided, and it’s up to you to decide whether you will be the world’s savior or lead it to a darker destiny. 

The key features of Biomutant include:

• 3rd person combat: The martial arts style of fighting allows maximum movement and agility while using your weapons. You can learn more combat forms from masters you meet along the way.
• Evolve yourself and your game style: You can recode your genetics to change how you look and play–this will also affect your attributes. You can even gain mutations from exposure to bio-contaminations to unlock skills like telekinesis or mucus bubble.
• Crafting freedom: You can mix and match parts to create your own unique 1-handed or 2-handed slash and crush weapons and make modifications. Besides this, you can gain cool crafts from people you meet and get things like bionic wings or a jump pack.
• Open-world exploration: Explore the open world and everything beneath its surface via foot, mech, or air balloon. There are vast landscapes, tunnels and bunkers, and wildlife waiting to be discovered, each with creatures and characters that make this world more vibrant and immersive. 
• Actions have consequences: Your activities are crucial in how the story unfolds and how the world will end. Your choices throughout the game will decide if you will all survive or perish.
