The release of Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth marks the return of the Blade Runner franchise to the realm of gaming for the first time in 25 years. Set between the original film and Blade Runner: 2049, Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth delves into a post-Black Out era, exploring the role of Blade Runners when there are no Replicants left to hunt.

In 1997, a Blade Runner point-and-click adventure game, developed by Westwood Studios and published by Virgin Interactive, launched for PC. Building on its success, an Enhanced Edition of the game was released in 2022, allowing fans on modern platforms such as PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, to experience the classic in a remastered form. Finally, Blade Runner is set to make its monumental comeback to the gaming landscape as a brand new title, and fans can only wonder about the adventure that awaits them.

Details regarding Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth is very limited as of now. However, the trailer suggests that it follows a Blade Runner embarking on a journey to explore a mysterious location called the “land of the dead.” In any case, it will be interesting to see Annapurna Interactive’s approach to bringing this beloved franchise to PC and consoles. As anticipation arises, Annapurna Interactive promised that more details about the game will be revealed in the coming months.

For those eagerly awaiting the release of Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth, the game is now available to wishlist on Steam, ensuring they receive notifications as soon as the game becomes available.
