You wrap up her quest by interacting with Yerma with the Holy Oil in hand. And the cherry on top? You get a Quick Verse called Zejel of the Cruelest Thorn Prayer. This Verse sets up a thorn barrier that inflicts Miasma damage.
Yerma is looking for the Holy Oil of Everlasting Anointment because she wants to use it against Svsona, as she is the person Yerma has been speaking about all this time. And Yerma intends to use everything she can to make sure Svsona dies.
What Happens If You Don’t Give Yerma the Holy Oil of Everlasting Anointment in Blasphemous 2?
If you don’t give Yerma the Holy Oil of Everlasting Anointment in Blasphemous 2, and move on ahead to defeat the boss on your own. If you succeed in defeating Svsona, you’ll find Yerma’s corpse in the boss’s room, dead as one can be. By not giving her the Holy Oil, she failed her quest.
