In a recent reveal, Blizzard announced their upcoming game, Warcraft Arclight Rumble, a mobile action strategy game set within the Warcraft universe.
In this mobile game, collectible Minis come to fight in melee battles. You can play multiple modes, including single-player campaigns, PvP battles, co-op, etc. The storyline follows the people of Azeroth, who can’t get enough of a mysterious new machine.
Like previous Warcraft games, players will have the chance to work their way through epically challenging campaign maps, dungeons, and raids.
In Warcraft Arclight Rumble, there are four significant components to know when playing: deploying, capturing, synergizing, and conquering. It may seem like a lot of different features for a mobile game. However, it’s pretty simple to understand once they have been explained in more detail.
Use the gold and resources you’ve collected to deploy your Minis strategically on the battlefield. You can gain gold passively over time, from mining, or within treasure chests. You must capture objectives like guard towers or meeting stones and use them to deploy your Minis closer to the objectives. Controlling the map and objectives is the key to victory.
When in combat, each Mini has a unique set of abilities, such as flying troops are strong against melee, and siege troops deal additional damage to guard towers. It’s up to you to learn these abilities and use them to their maximum potential. Support your troops with powerful spells as they march towards enemies to ensure your victory.
In addition, you can customize your team — even the leaders. Leaders have their own unique abilities that can turn the tide of the battle and help you achieve victory. Leaders can be Alliance, Horde, Undead, Beast, and Blackrock.
