Bloons TD Battles 2 is delivering its last set of new content for this year in update 1.7. This update will offer a new character, a new reward system, as well as some game balance changes, and bug fixes.
In Battles 2 update 1.7, players may get a new hero known as Pat Fusty. Pat is a huge monkey of enormous strength whose unique size and power is a great asset in the war against the bloons. He also has two bloon-busting activated abilities known as the Rallying Roar and Big Squeeze. The Rallying Roar enables all nearby monkeys to pop an additional layer of Bloons for a short amount of time, while the Big Squeeze enables Pat to grasp a MOAB-Class Bloon and smash it over the span of five seconds. Along with Pat, his poppy happy soul alt, known as Fusty the Snowman, will also be available.
Meanwhile, the Bling screen will be replaced with a new Season screen for Battles 2’s new season reward system. Instead of purchasing Bling with Monkey Money, it is now possible to earn it by completing Quests. Rather than purchasing Bling items for Monkey Money, they are now earned by completing Quests. Complete Quests to earn Golden Bananas and progress along the reward track to unlock various items. The reward track will include all bling items from the current season and two new hero showcases. Each day, a limited number of quests are available to complete. VIPs may accomplish an unlimited number of quests and receive twice as many Golden Bananas.
Season 9 of Bloons TD Battles 2 will debut the new reward system. All items for this season can be unlocked through gameplay by completing quests. The season items are as follows:
- 12 new cosmetics including Football BFB, Angelic Bloon Boost, and Hieroglyphics avatar
- King Fusty Showcase: Pat Fusty stomps through the city with 6 new cosmetic items.
- Snow Sculptures Showcase: Fusty the Snowman shows off his artistic talents with 6 new cosmetic items.
The update 1.7 in Battles 2 will also enable VIPs to create private matches using rules from special events. This currently consists of Random Quad, Play with Fire, and Speed Battles, with more events to be introduced soon. VIPs who create private matches with special rules can invite non-VIPs to play in them.
Bloons TD Battles 2 has also made some rebalancing and bug fixes. As always, the team looks forward to any feedback from players. Read more about the Bloons TD Battles 2 update 1.7 here.
