Originally launched digitally back in August 2023 for PC and Nintendo Switch, followed by a September 1 release on PlayStation and Xbox consoles, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk received overwhelmingly positive reviews. The game has been lauded for its thrilling fast-paced gameplay, infectious soundtrack, stylish art, and fascinating characters. The game is regarded as a spiritual successor to Sega’s beloved classic, Jet Set Radio Future, as Bomb Rush Cyberfunk draws inspiration from both its aesthetics and gameplay.

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk introduces a futuristic world where self-styled graffiti crews equipped with personal boostpacks are battling each other for control of the streets. As players in the five main boroughs of the city, they will hit graffiti spots and get REP by taking on rival crews in intense Crew Battle. Along the way, players will also find new members to join their crew around the city.

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk features a unique environment-based trick system, allowing players to perform skateboarding, inline skating, or BMX-style tricks. Players will be able to extend combos with manuals and get even higher scores by incorporating special Boost Tricks. However, players must stay alert for dynamic militarized police that scale up as they vandalize.

For those who want to secure their copy, pre-orders for the Bomb Rush Cyberfunk physical edition will open on September 15 through the iam8bit online store. This edition comes with a captivating bonus, including artwork by the talented Tan Zhi Hui, along with six Die-Cut Vinyl Graffiti Stickers.
