The brutal hack ’n’ slash developed by Ludus future, Demon Skin, will finally be released on consoles next month by publisher ESDigital Games.
Demon Skin first launched on PC via Steam back in April 2021. Recently, ESDigital Games has revealed that the game will finally become available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on May 5, 2023. In Demon Skin, players will engage in challenging hack ’n’ slash battles set in a rough dark fantasy world. It combines unique combat mechanics, RPG and fighting games, as well as some platformer elements. With the flexible combat system, players can come up with their unique tactics by skillfully mixing stances with various types of weaponry to attain ultimate combat efficiency.
Players’ skills in Demon Skin will develop as they learn various stances for lightning-fast parrying and dealing maximum damage with amazing finishing moves. Players must also keep an eye on the character’s stamina and other signs of physical condition since all of these factors have a direct impact on the result of the combat.
Crystal shards may be collected in Demon Skin, and bone armor can be upgraded to transform the player into a ferocious demon. Furthermore, there are more than 30 types of edged and blunt weapons at the player’s disposal, each of which is exclusively useful against a specific kind of enemy. Players may also destroy enemies even with their bare hands, which is less effective but still a lot of fun.
Demon Skin features gloomy landscapes reminiscent of the majority of dark fantasy games, ranging from icy wastelands and deep dungeons to twilight woods and zombie abodes. Players will encounter a variety of opponents, each of which takes a distinctive approach to defeat. Skeletons, zombies, and spiders, as well as werewolves, lizards, and golems, are among the adversaries.
