Building has officially returned to Fortnite

Epic has officially brought back build modes to Fortnite, but players who enjoyed life without it still can play in Zero Build!

Fortnite is known for pretty big changes, but I don’t know if many people saw them starting off the most recent season with building disabled. This caused a bit of a rumble in the community, but from my point-of-view it has seemed to be an overall positive experience. Well, if you were one of the players that didn’t enjoy it, you can rejoice because building has officially returned to the game.

If, however, you have been enjoying your life in Fortnite without building then don’t fear because that hasn’t gone anywhere either. Zero Build Mode and Build Mode are both now in the game simultaneously. All you need to do to access either of them, is hit the “Change” option above the big Play button at the home screen.

You will find the Play Your Way section has now been added, which contains both Zero Build and what is looked at as just the normal Fortnite modes. You can play either mode in Solo, Duo, Trio, or Squads, so you will find no real difference to what’s been going on recently.

Fortnite Play Your Way

Here’s the official tweet from the Fortnite Twitter account:

Building Is Back – Play Your Way!

Sprint, climb, and smash your way to a Victory Royale whether you choose to build up in Fortnite Battle Royale or go no-builds in the new Fortnite Zero Build.

No Build Mode has opened up the game to players who have always wanted to play Fortnite, but have found the building to be a bit too difficult. Having both modes now available gives players the best of both worlds!
