In a series of tweets, Bungie unveiled missing patch notes from Update 7.05 for Destiny 2, addressing a variety of changes in the game that were not previously mentioned. The newly revealed information covers modifications to mods, subclass perks, and weapon-related issues.

Bungie clarified that when players equip both Ashes to Assets and Hands On mods, they will only receive Super energy from one of the mods, not both. Similarly, when Firepower and Heavy Handed are equipped, players will spawn only one Orb of Power instead of two upon killing an enemy with a grapple melee.

Changes were also made to the Grenade Kickstart, which will no longer activate when grappling to a grapple point without expending any grenade energy. Super gains from Ashes to Assets have been reduced by 50% when getting a grapple melee kill after grappling to a grapple point without expending any grenade energy. The new range for Super gains is now between 0.5% and 2.5%.

The Allied Unraveling perk now allows players to gain Unraveling Rounds for their Strand weapons without needing the Strand subclass equipped. Heavy weapons have been adjusted to gain increased ammo capacity more consistently. Additionally, Bungie addressed an issue with the Fighting Lion weapon, which was incorrectly benefitting from the Void Holster mod, and the Harsh Language shotgun now correctly activates Void artifact perks.

Certain Gambit weapons were not contributing to the Dark Age Arsenal Triumph, but this issue has been fixed. Crafting progress now comes from the key chest, not the base chest. The Warlock Exotic Swarmers will now correctly create Threadlings when a Tangle is thrown and a player has the Shackle grenade equipped. Hunter armor Thunderhead Grips can now have their appearance unlocked with synthweave. Lastly, fall damage has been made nonlethal to players, similar to the existing nonlethal collision damage.

Here are the full details from all of the tweets that were published:

  • When Ashes to Assets and Hands On are equipped, players will only receive Super energy from one of the mods, not both. When Firepower and Heavy Handed are equipped, players will only spawn one Orb of Power, not two, when killing an enemy with a grapple melee.
  • Grenade Kickstart will no longer activate when grappling to a grapple point (and thus not expending any grenade energy).
  • Reduced Super gains from Ashes to Assets when getting a grapple melee kill after grappling to a grapple point (and thus not expending any grenade energy) by 50%. Previously, this varied from 1% to 5% depending on the target tier, with this change, that’s now: 0.5% to 2.5%.
  • Players no longer need to have the Strand subclass equipped to gain Unraveling Rounds for their Strand weapons from the Allied Unraveling perk.
  • Heavy weapons will more consistently gain increased ammo capacity.
  • Fixed an issue where Fighting Lion was incorrectly benefitting from the Void Holster mod.
  • The Harsh Language shotgun now correctly activates Void artifact perks.
  • Fixed an issue where certain Gambit weapons were not contributing to the Dark Age Arsenal Triumph.
  • Crafting progress now comes from the key chest and not the base chest.
  • Warlock Exotic Swarmers will now correctly create Threadlings when a Tangle is thrown and a player has Shackle grenade equipped.
  • Hunter armor Thunderhead Grips can now correctly have its appearance unlocked with synthweave.
  • Fall damage is now nonlethal to players. Previously, only collision damage was nonlethal.
