The Civilization VI: Leader Pass now offers its final DLC pack, the Rulers of England Pack, which introduces three iconic monarchs to the game: Elizabeth I of England, Varangian Harald Hardrada of Norway, and Victoria – Age of Steam of England. Players can now fill out their collection of leaders with these powerful figures, each boasting unique abilities that enhance gameplay and strategy.
Elizabeth I, ascending to the English throne at the age of 25, presided over a Golden Age in English history. In Civilization VI, Elizabeth I focuses on trade routes and prefers trading with civilizations that engage her cities. Her new ability, Drake’s Legacy, increases England’s trade route capacity and boosts yields from plundering trade routes.
Varangian Harald Hardrada, born into the Norwegian royal family, served King Olaf II before becoming a mercenary and eventually returning to Norway as a co-ruler. Known for his protective stance towards city-states, Harald dislikes civilizations that attack them. His new ability, Varangian Guard, offers discounts on levying units and reduces unit maintenance costs.
Victoria – Age of Steam, crowned queen at just 18 years old, resided in Buckingham Palace and expanded the British Empire during her reign. With her Industrial Revolution agenda, Victoria focuses on building industry and favors civilizations that concentrate on production. Her new ability, Age of Steam, increases production in cities based on Industrial Zone buildings and boosts strategic resource production.
The Civilization VI: Leader Pass, now complete with the release of the Rulers of England Pack, adds a total of 18 new playable leader selections to the game. The Leader Pass is available on Windows PC via Steam, Epic, and Windows Store, MacOS via Steam and the Mac App Store, and iOS via the App Store, offering players a diverse range of ways to rule in Civilization VI.
