In an announcement today, Clash of Clans has unveiled changes to its Gold Pass pricing and features, effective from July 1st. The base price of the Gold Pass will be raised to $6.99 US, not inclusive of any local taxes or currency conversion rates relevant to individual regions. Accompanying this price adjustment are numerous enhancements designed to augment the Gold Pass’s value for player progress in Clash of Clans.

One of the changes involves an expansion in the Gold Pass’s reward tiers, which have been increased from 30 to 40. Despite the additional tiers, the points required to reach the final tier remain unchanged, meaning players will be able to unlock rewards, perks, and cosmetics more frequently. Moreover, all five Runes will now be featured as part of the reward track every month. Additionally, the gem cost to complete each tier has been reduced from 100 gems to 90 gems.

The update also includes an improvement to the free Silver track rewards, which have been increased from 15 tiers to 20. This change will enable players to gain more rewards without additional expenditure.

Clash of Clans is also introducing a new feature called the Builder Bank. This feature will allow players to accumulate more Builder Resources. The Builder Bank will collect Builder Gold earned from Builder Base attacks and Builder Elixir earned from defending the Builder Base. Players can increase their Builder Bank’s storage capacity by progressing through the Gold Pass tiers.

In addition to the Builder Bank, the developers are adding a new perk for the Season Bank, called the Season Bank Multiplier. This perk will multiply the loot stored in the Season Bank for both the Home Village and the new Builder Bank. Unlocking this perk for the Home Village will double the Season Bank’s loot, while unlocking the Builder Bank multiplier perk will quadruple the loot earned each season.

The update also features an increased storage capacity for the Home Village Season Bank, with the maximum tier being raised by an additional 5M Gold/5M Elixir/50K Dark Elixir. This modification allows the Season Bank to store up to 30M Gold/30M Elixir/300K Dark Elixir at its final level.

A new Auto Forge Slot Perk is being introduced as well. This perk creates a new Forge slot when unlocked from the Gold Pass. This slot uses 50% fewer resources to convert into Capital Gold, which is used for upgrading the Clan Capital, and it does not require an available Builder.
