Racing games are a core gaming experience, allowing players to race fast across a variety of terrain, making sharp turns just in time to best their enemies. For those fans, a revamped version of the Classic Racers Elite game is coming to Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 digitally, with boxed editions being available in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, South America, and Mexico.

This title is developed by Vision Reele and follows old-school arcade racing rules of time-based courses where players will be racing against a clock. The car design is meant to evoke the 1960s rally car racing on the streets. The new “Elite” variation of the title adds race tracks in addition to the streets, providing even more opportunities for players to learn routes.

The launch trailer above showcases some of the best of the gameplay, showing the wide variety of cars that players will be able to use. Another major feature is the hard turns and close calls that the new tracks provide, allowing players to feel every successful maneuver they can pull off. It definitely looks like something classic racing game fans will enjoy.

Classic Racers Elite boasts modern controls done in a way that gives the feeling of driving a vintage car and all the fun that comes with it. Players can drive everything from smaller rally cars to some of the most impressive vehicles from Formula 1. This is a title that fans of racing should check out, with it releasing on two new platforms and in physical editions today.
