How 2 Escape is an upcoming escape-simulation video game developed by Breakfirst Games and published by Just For Games. In this game, two players will need to work together to navigate the asymmetrical gameplay and devices.
PlayStation recently showcased How 2 Escape and announced that the co-op video game would be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Series X|S, as well as Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam sometime this year. How 2 Escape will also have a free Companion App on iOs and Android, which will be an integral part of the gameplay. The objective of How 2 Escape is for players to successfully escape from a moving train within a certain time limit. Each wagon is timed in different ways. Both players will need to interact with each other and focus on their senses. To solve puzzles, players will need logic, coordination, observation, and effective listening, but communication is the most important of all.
The trailer also revealed a unique gameplay feature of How 2 Escape. Not only does it requires 2 players, but there will be also 2 ways to play this escape-simulation game. The first player on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch takes control of the character who is trapped on the train and has the ability to explore and interact with their surroundings. Meanwhile, the second player will use the dedicated free companion app on iOs and Android to gather pieces of information, to figure out how to assist the first player in escaping the train.
It’s safe to say that How 2 Escape‘s thrilling puzzles and unique cross-platform feature may place it on par with popular co-op games like It Takes Two. Some even suggest that PS VR2 compatibility would be excellent for the game. Hopefully, all expectations for this game will be met upon its release.
