Cookie Run: Kingdom is a mobile builder and battle RPG game that was created by Devsisters Corporation for iOS and Android platforms. You will be building up a team of powerful cookie based heroes to take on the evildoers who have wreaked havoc on the kingdom. In the process, you will be able to build a beautiful town that is filled with delicious buildings that not only look great but will help you battle your way to victory!
Today, Devsisters, the developer behind CKR, announced that the January 5th, 2023 update of the game will include a new Epic cookie: Prophet Cookie along with New Year’s Crunchy Fortunes, new items in the Crystal Shop, and Today’s Lucky Ticket! Event.
Prophet Cookie is a support cookie that has a skill called the Seven Prophecies, and they will “deliver” one of the seven prophecies in battle, and while invoking a prophecy, Prophet Cookie will also heal an ally and amplify buffs they receive. As another layer to the play of this Epic Cookie, an extra skill effect may be activated depending on the symbol of the prophecy, which will damage enemies and amplify debuffs on them. These different effects can be guaranteed by equipping different toppings.
Wandering around the Kingdom, Prophet Cookie will come up with Fortune Cookies every three days that players can tap on to obtain a gift. The higher Prophet Cookie’s rank, the better the gift you will receive, which will encourage you to play.
From January 5th through January 19th, Fortune Cookie Bubbles will appear daily once you have obtained Prophet Cookie. When you tap the bubble, you will receive a random gift. From the update notice, you will need to clear missions and collect Enchanted Fortunes to unlock Prophet Cookie.
In this update, there is also the New Year’s Crunchy Fortunes, where you can collect the crunchy fortunes of the Cookies from Prophet Cookie’s Shiny Fortune Gacha and get Prophet Cookie’s Soulstone. The final reward is listed as an Ancient Start Soulstone of Choice Chest.
Some of the new items mentioned in the update specifically for the Crystal Shop include: Aurora items, speed-ups, time jumpers, and event items that will be only available for a limited period of time.
The Today’s Lucky Ticket! Event is back, and it’s a game where you can scratch three slots to obtain items. You will receive a free Lucky Ticket to use each day. If you want more tickets, you can purchase them using Lucky Clover Coins available in the Package Shop.
